As the 3rd generation of the Shaw Communications dynasty, Ms. Shaw is the Executive Chair of Corus Entertainment Inc., a $2.3 billion publicly traded media and content company that is the evolution of Shaw Media. She has held this position since its inception in September 1999. Prior to this, Ms. Shaw has been a past Director of Shawcor Ltd. and Shaw Communications Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Paul Storwick

Mr. Storwick is the Chief Operating Officer of Greatwest Kenworth Ltd., a family-owned, Alberta-based truck dealership in it’s 3rd generation of leadership, with operations in Calgary, Lethbridge, Grande Prairie and Red Deer. Following graduation from Gonzaga University in Spokane with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Personnel Management, he joined Kenworth, becoming the third generation in the family business. Mr. Storwick is active as a community volunteer. Past and present service includes: the Board of Governors for Southern Alberta Institute of Technology; the board of the Motor Dealer Association of Alberta; Vice President of the Strathcona Tweedsmuir School Alumni Association; President of the Alberta chapter of the Gonzaga University Alumni. He is also an Honorary Colonel of 1 Air Maintenance Squadron, 4 Wing Cold Lake, AB.

Kat Storwick

Ms. Storwick is the 4th generation to join the family business, and has been working alongside her father, Paul, since 2012. Ms. Storwick graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in business management and sociology. Currently, she working on project management and IT development at GreatWest.

Tom Stepper
General Counsel at Gas Plus Inc.

Tom Stepper is General Counsel with Gas Plus Inc., a Calgary-based, privately-held petroleum retailer with over 130 locations in western Canada.  Mr. Stepper’s comprehensive responsibilities include managing a wide range of corporate matters as well as advising the family-member shareholders on other business endeavours and private affairs. Prior to Gas Plus, Mr. Stepper worked in the energy sector and was also engaged in private legal practice. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Regina, and a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

Steve Cloutier
CEO, Skyridge Capital Corporation

Steve Cloutier is a successful start-up entrepreneur with thirty years of experience in the law, investment and upstream oil and gas industries. After relocating to Calgary, Cloutier began his career in oil and gas, ultimately participating in the starting up of seven oil and gas companies, and leading teams of up to 200 employees. He has more than $2 billion of direct experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, some of which have involved multigenerational businesses.
