AGILITY serves students in all disciplines and faculties, with a focus on providing students with resources to enable transformative and innovative research with cultural, social and economic benefits for Alberta and beyond. One such support is the Cor Van Raay AGILITY Awards in Agriculture. The Cor Van Raay AGILITY Awards in Agriculture are for qualified continuing undergraduate students with current involvement in agriculture or agribusiness or an interest in innovation and/or entrepreneurship related to agriculture or agribusiness.  Applicants are invited to submit the paper application in addition to one of the following options: A one page description of their current involvement in activities related to agriculture (e.g. Junior Achievement, Canadian Youth Business Foundation, Community Futures, 4-H, self-initiated, family business, etc) A proposal for a project or research in an entrepreneurial endeavour or innovative development in agriculture or agribusiness. Teaching Innovation Fund (Deadline: May 13)

The University of Lethbridge Teaching Innovation Fund sponsored by AGILITY provides financial support of up to $2,500 to for projects that utilize innovative technologies to enhance post-secondary teaching and learning at the University of Lethbridge. This award is open to all faculty, instructors, academic assistants, and librarians. Example Fundable Projects include: Utilizing 3D printer technology to enhance students’ conceptual understanding Development and/or utilization of Virtual Reality (VR) applications to teach complex problems Development of learning objects App development to enhance student understanding Innovative technologies that enhance teaching and student learning Funds may be used for: Specialized software not currently available through ITS Specialized hardware not currently available through the Library, Department, or Teaching Centre Supplies and materials not considered part of a department’s normal purchases. AGILITY Research & Innovation Grant in Social Enterprise

 The University of Lethbridge AGILITY program is a new university-wide initiative designed to nurture and support innovation and foster entrepreneurship ambition. AGILITY is unique.  It is grounded in student-led research, ideas, and creativity.  The program draws across all disciplines and faculties and is focused on providing students with resources to enable transformative and innovative research with social, economic, and cultural benefits for Alberta and beyond. One such support is the AGILITY Research and Innvoation Fund.
